Robert W. Alexander entered into eternal rest November 15, 2011 in San Antonio at the age of 93. He was born March 4, 1918 to John W. Alexander and Nola Willie Chamberlain in Bartlett, TX. Robert was a veteran of World War II and was a civil servant for over 30 years mostly at Camp Bullis and Camp Stanley. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 60 years Velma Smith Alexander; 8 siblings and their spouses. He is survived by his daughter, Shirley A. Vaello and her husband James; grandchildren, Lisa M. Keller and James R. Vaello; great-granddaughter, Mollie C. Keller, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 form 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX.
