Funeral for Pearline Peebles, 89, of Belle Mina will be Thursday at noon at New Home Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Terry Ragland officiating and Reynolds Funeral Home directing. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the funeral.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Peebles died Saturday in Mooresville at her stepson's home. She was born in Lawrence County on Sept. 6, 1905. She was a member of the New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Order of the Eastern Star's Richard Brinkley Chapter 64.

She is survived by two step-sons, Egbert Peebles Jr. of Mooresville and Eddie Peebles of Chattanooga; two step-daughters, Matilda Bradley of Limestone County and
Laura Jolly of Trinity; three sisters, Annie Troupe of Athens, Era Sales of Tanner and Laura Mae Malone of Decatur; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Sandifer, Columbus Waddle, James Sandifer Jr., Percy Gray, Dezi Fletcher and Charles Fletcher.
