She was daughter of Henry Hubbard and Hollie LeAnna Johnston Warren. Her parents are buried in Ft. Houston Cemetery. During World War II, she worked as a welder building ships in the Houston ship yard. After the war, she and her husband settled in Perryton, TX and started an oil field business. After his death in 1970, Willie moved to Palestine and worked at Eilenberger's Bakery for 20 years until her retirement. She shares a stone with her husband, Rufus Rudene "Tuck" Tucker. Willie was residing in Palestine at the time of her death there. She was survived by one daughter, Frankie Lurlene Crouch of Palestine; one brother, Hayden Warren of Palestine; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her obituary was published in the Palestine Herald-Press, Wednesday, 10 March 2004.
