MATTIE JANE ELSWICK CURNUTTE
CURNUTTE, Mrs. Mattie Jane — 80, of Handley, died yesterday at the home of a daughter after a short illness.
She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church at Prenter.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Odith Lowe and Mrs. Kenneth Hudnall, both of Handley and Mrs. Stella Boone of St. Albans; a son, Bill Curnutte of Cleveland, Ohio; five sisters, Mrs. Jenny Baiser and Mrs. Charlie Hudson, both of Mammoth, Mrs. Albert Durham of Rand, Mrs. Cora Miller of Givens and Mrs. Elbert Fisher of Charleston; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Handley Baptist Church, Rev. Ray Crumm and Rev. Howard Franklin officiating.
Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park.
The body will be taken to the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Odith Lowe, in Handley at 5 p.m. today, and to the church one hour before service by the B. C. Hooper mortuary.
