Ralph Junior Maston of Rt. l, St. Marys died Aug. 3 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg. He was born Nov. 2, 1937 in Pleasants County, a son of the late Harvey and Mary Crooks Maston. He served in the United States Army and had worked in the oil fields.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Malone Maston, three sons, Robert Jennings Maston, Randall Joseph Maston and his wife Danielle, all of St. Marys, and Mark Allen Maston and his wife Jennifer of Newport, O.; two granddaughters, Jenna Maston of Newport, O. and Faith Maston of Parkersburg; five sisters Zora Straight and Eileen Steele, both of St.
Marys, Luella Smith of Newport, O., Ora Marshall of Coolville, O. and Ola Pinkerton of Parkersburg; one half sister, Georgia Hendrickson of St. Marys: two brothers, Clyde "Odie" Maston and Carl "Bud" Maston, both of St.
Marys; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Lorraine Greathouse,Pearl Malone, Edna Farsons and Maxine Kelley, one brother, Burl Maston, and one half sister, Alicetene Brothers.
Services were held Friday at Newport United Methodist Church in Newport, O. with Rev. Randy Stewart and Rev. Steven Smith officiating. Burial was in the Newport Cemetery with military graveside riles conducted by American Legion Post 79 and VFW Post 222.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Camden Clark Memorial Hospital Housecalls Home Health and Hospice, 111 Lafayette Street, St. Marys, WV 26170.
