GALION: A. Maureen Faine, 90, of Galion, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at Heartland of Marion, where she has resided the last five years.
Born Dec. 27, 1920 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Laurence and Martha Elizabeth (McDevitt) Bergstrom. She was preceded in death on Jan. 9, 1996 by her husband, Harold H. Faine whom she married on May 30, 1940.
Maureen was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School in 1938 and a member of Galion Community Hospital Auxiliary TWIG 2 and Galion Historical Society. She was a homemaker all of her life.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Neil Miller of Marion; three grandsons,
David (Thamer) Wright of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Tom (Salina) Wright of Columbus and Chris Wright of Columbus; two great-grandsons, Josef and Nick and one sister, Kitty Fraser of Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Larry Bergstrom.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 with Rev. Charles Zweizig officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Galion.
