14 April 2014: Please note that this person is listed as buried in at least three different cemeteries online, two of them showing a pic of the same stone. I tracked down the obit today. I talked to the funeral home (no records before 1990s), went to the cemetery to verify the stone is there (it is, but I forgot my camera), and have written a letter to the church where the funeral was held--waiting to hear on that one. Obit is posted here. Our Lady of Lourdes Home was located on the corner of 17th and Iowa streets in Dubuque. It is no longer in service. Email me with questions. I am not related, but have done a fair amount of research trying to solve this problem. Will tell you what I can. The dates are a little up in the air as dates according to the paper don't match what others have posted. Hoping the church where funeral was held will help verify the paper info.
