Otto H. Plantikow
Otto H. Plantikow, 78, 322 Lincoln Ave., died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday at home following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Salem Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ewald Blumanthal, Milwaukee, will officiate and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
The body will be at the Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday and at the church after noon Saturday.
Mr. Plantikow was born Aug. 18, 1886, in Wausau, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Plantikow. He was married May 22, 1923, in Wausau to Hertha Zastrow, who survives.
A retired foundry worker, Mr. Plantikow was the last surviving chapter member of Salem Lutheran Church.
Surviving besides the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Victory Hinrichs, Omaha, Neb.; two sons, John, Menominee Falls, and Martin, Omaha, Neb.; a brother, Emil, 524 Humboldt Ave., two sisters, Mrs. William Ahlmann, 405 1/2 Chicago Ave., and Mrs. Harry Lawonn, 701 10th St.; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
