Arlena Allen Powell of Amarillo died there Friday, March 12, 2004 at the ago of 79. Born November 2, 1924, Mrs. Powell had lived in the Amarillo area for more than 60 years. She married O.T. Powell December 12, 1944 and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. To her, family was the most important part of her life.
Survivors include her husband, O.T. of the home; four sons, Troy Powell and wife, Donna of Amarillo; Alan Powell and wife, Judy, of Topeka, KA; Ted Powell and wife, Mary, of Lubbock and Craig Powell of Amarillo; Two brothers, Leon Allen of Pampa and Delton Allen of Oklahoma City; three grandsons and four granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
