—Entered into rest Oct. 14, after a long and painful illness of consumption, Mrs. Nancy A. Byrnes, of Spring street. The funeral services were held at her late residence Friday, Rev. Charles B. Hill of the M. E. church officiating. The choir of the same church with Mrs. Gilman as organist furnished beautiful and appropriate music. Kind friends provided beautiful floral gifts and many were assembled to pay the last tribute of respect to one so well-known and loved. Mrs. Byrnes was a faithful wife, a devoted mother and a kind and sympathizing neighbor. Her influence will long be felt by the community. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. H. D. Main, and one sister, Mrs. H. C. Jones. The remains were interred in the family plot in Rural cemetery.
