Albert Hellman Buck was born March 15, 1925 in Lyons,Nebraska to Glen and Vivian (Woten) Buck. He attended school in Lyons and South Sioux City, Nebraska.

Albert worked most of his life with heavy construction equipment and as a mechanic. He has lived the past several years in Rosalie, Nebraska.

Albert was united in marraige to Lillie M. Phillips on March 30, 1946 in Elk City, Nebraska. To this 34 year union three children were born: Ronald Dale, Glenda Rae and James Phillip.

On May 19, 1980 Albert was united in a second marriage to Rena B Walford-Molt in West Point, Nebraska. To this 15 year union two children were born: Becky Lee and Bartley Loren.

Albert was baptized and accepted into the United Methodist Church by Pastor Cliff Reymolds on May 3, 1996 at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 19 days.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Glen and Vivian Buck: two sons: Ronald Buck Sr., abd Bartley Buck: three brothers: Jimmie Derrell Buck, Glen Buck Jr., Harry Points Jr.; and a grand-daughter Shannon Grashorn.

Albert is survived by his wife: Rena Buck; one son: James Buck, his wife Terri of Rosalie; two daughters: Glenda Grashorn, her husband Mike of Rosalie; Becky Buckof Oakland, Nebraska and her fiance Matt Weitzenkamp. Also surviving is his daughter-in-law: Sharon Buck of West Point; step daughter: Donna Marr, her husband of Rosalie; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister: Darlene Urbanec, her husband Robert of Garfield, Arkansas; half-brother: Ronald Alexander of North Platte, Nebraska; half-sisters:Coleen Ehmen of Fairmont, Nebreaksa; Regina Thomas of Lincoln, Nebraska and Patty Custer of sioux City, Iowa. Albert is also survived by a dear aunt and uncle: Mabel and Vernon Sudduth of Walthill, Nebraska and many other relatives.

Funeral services for Albert H. Buck were held at10:30 a.m. Friday, May 10th, 1996 at the United Methodist Church in Rosalie, Nebraska. Officiating at the morning service was the Church Pastor, Cliff Reynolds. The organist was Pam Stansberry. The duet, Robin Snyder and Todd Woten , sang "The Old Rugged Cross". The congregation sang "Precious Lord, Take My Hand". Dean Daggett was the usher. The casket bearers were Don Ring, Ron Buck jr., Bob Greiner, Jeff Phillips, Wayne Phillips and Kelly Redding.

The honarary bearers were Dallas Russman, Kenny Warnock, Arthur "Bud" Rell and Dick Woten. Interment was in the Lyons Cemetery in Lyons. Ladies of the Church prepared lunch, for those attending, in the Church Social Hall, following the services.
