Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Bell Street Chapel. Burial will be Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Mrs. Planck was taken home from complications of septicaemia and Alzheimer's. She was born Aug. 20, 1938, in Porum, Okla. She married Harry G. Planck on July 7, 1956, in Burbank, Calif., and they recently celebrated 55 years together.
Mrs. Planck was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for more than 40 years, serving in various callings. She retired from the Southern California Gas Co. after 30 years of service.
She spent most of her life in Santa Maria, Calif., and Palm Desert, Calif.
Mrs. Planck loved to sing in the choir, travel and support her children and grandchildren in sports and other activities. Her greatest joy in life came through service to her family and church.
Survivors include her husband, Harry G. Planck of Amarillo; her children, Kirk Planck of Salt Lake City, Kim Smith of Oakdale, Calif., and Kelly Planck of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
