Edward worked, as a motorman, for the trolley line in Philadelphia. He and his family had just sat down to the dinner table when he fell over and died.
He left his wife Cora, son Eddie and daughter Mildred. Cora was expecting, when Edward died. She gave birth, in August, to twin sons, Charles and John.
