Daughter of George and Josephine Tucker Savedge. Ada married 1) Charles Wesley Burton on December 27, 1894, and 2) George Albert Mountcastle (1855-1926) on January 28, 1903.

MARION - Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Savage Mountcastle, 72 years old, who died yesterday in Mullins at the home of her sister, Mrs. M. F. Young, were conducted at the Cox Funeral Home this afternoon. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion, with the Rev. G. H. Varn and the Rev. B. I. Knight officiating.

Mrs. Mountcastle, a native of Virginia, had made her home in SC for many years. She was an invalid.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. F. C. Maner of Mullins and Mrs. H. C. Verhelst of Illinois; two sons, A. B. Mountcastle of Marion and L. L. Mountcastle of Petersburg, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. M. F. Young and Mrs. H. M. Smith, of Mullins, and Mrs. Nannie Harris of Portsmouth, Va.; and one brother, Otho Savage of Norfolk.
