LIFELONG RESIDENT OF COUNTY IS DEAD
Rites to be Saturday for Ferdinand Bloom

Ferdinand S. Bloom, 73, lifelong Seneca County resident, died Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at his home northeast of Adrian in Big Spring Township. Death followed a four year period of failing health. The immediate cause was uremic poisoning.

The deceased was born April 3, 1860, the son of Jacob and Sarah Hufford Bloom. He was married March 28, 1888, to Miss Florence Yantzer who survives with two children, Edgar Bloom of McCutchenville and Miss Catherine at home and one sister and brother, Mrs. Rachel Clouse of Adrian and Rudolph Bloom of Berwick.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 3 p.m. at the residence by Rev. Mr. Turner, pastor of the Wharaton M. E. Church. Interment will be in McCutchenville Cemetery.
