“Daniel Fisher”
On Tuesday [Nov. 19] morning, at his residence between this place and Shimersville, Daniel Fisher, a well-known and highly respected citizen of Upper Milford Twp., departed this life. He suffered from dropsy for over a year, but the immediate cause of his death was some heart affection [sic]. Deceased was born to the township in which he resided all his life, 71 years ago, and was a stone mason by trade. He was a quiet and industrious man. His wife and nine children survive, the latter being Mrs. Ben. Anderson, Mrs. James B. Garman, Mrs. Jonathan Osenwald, Kate and Edward of Allentown; John of Easton; Mrs. N. H. Lehman, of East Greenville, and J. Llewellyn, at home. There also survive two sisters - Mrs. Lafayette Walter, of Emmaus [sic], and Mrs. David Mohr, of Shimersville.
The funeral will be held on Saturday [Nov. 23]. Services will be held at the house and afterwards in the Reformed Church, Old Zionsville, where burial will also be made. Rev. O. R. Franz will officiate.
