Truman Olds was born July 10, 1927, in Breckenridge, Texas, and grew up in Weatherford, Texas. Truman attended John Tarleton College, as well as, TCU night school. He was an accountant, having worked for oil companies until he opened his own accounting business in 1970, until his retirement in 1989. He loved to play golf, bowl and go fishing with his friends.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Nellie Ruth Phelps Olds; three sons, Michael, Daniel and Blake, all of Richardson; one granddaughter, Danielle Olds of Sachse, Texas; two brothers, Jack and J.L. of Mineral Wells; three sisters, Margaret Chandler, Sallie Walters and Lois Dickson, all of Weatherford.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec 13, at Oakland Cemetery.
