Death of Fanchon Winger
Fanchon, daughter of Frank and Mattie Winger, was born in Montpelier, Ind, Aug 18th, 1898, departed this life June 29th, 1904, aged 5 years 10 months 11 days. She was taken sick about one week ago with diphtheria. After a brief illness she left us to be with the angels .

Fanchon was a beautiful light in the home a few short years, then passed to the perfect day. She tarried long enough to leave a lingering light to beckon loved ones home.

"Our kind Heavenly Gardener
Sent down from His Eden above
And removed to His own loving shelter
Our blossom in infinite love.

He knew what cold winds would strike her
He knew what deep snows would fall
And safe in His own kind protection
He sheltered her safe from them all.

Day by day are her beauties unfolding
In His care they shall daily increase
And free from all sorrow and suffering
Her happiness never shall cease.

And when at the end comes our summons
To pass the bright pearly gates through
'Mid the loved ones you greet at the portal
She'll be waiting to welcome you.

For one blessed message of comfort
By the Savior to sorrowing friends given
Oh that ring through the ages in sweetness
Is 'Of such is the Kingdom of Heaven'."
