Update on Hannah and Daniel's children. May 2023.
The following info is for a daughter, Elizabeth Cutshall, not documented elsewhere.
Elizabeth Cutshall (Elizabeth is Hannah's mother's name, i.e., Elizabeth Hill.)
She is buried in Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. The cemetery records indicate DOB as 18 Dec 1818 and DOD as 27 Jan 1898, father's name: Daniel Kutchall. Her memorial (21201131) erroneously displays her name as Elizabeth K. Thomas and the headstone picture is also on the wrong memorial. The headstone photo is for Elizabeth Zane Thomas and has been placed (erroneously) on Elizabeth (Cutshall) Sheaf Thomas' Find A Grave memorial.
Married 1st: George Frederick Scheaf (61136245) in Delaware County, OH 16 Nov 1837. The marriage record says George F. Sheef & Elizabeth Kortshall.
Married 2nd: Hardin Thomas (21201205) in Columbus, OH on 13 Oct 1864.
George F. Sheaf (Born 1804, Germany) and Elizabeth (Cutshall) had the following children (all born in Columbus, OH):
*Daniel F.: born Jun 1841 (Daniel - Elizabeth (Cutshall) Scheaf's father's name) DOD: 4 Apr 1929 (137916079)
*Andrew: born 1843 DOD: 6 Nov 1898 (14488015)

*Sarah A.: born 1850 DOD: between 1850 and 1860. (219985942) Green Lawn Cemetery records indicate George F. Scheaf and a child Scheaf moved from East Graveyard, Columbus, to Green Lawn in 1878. Sarah is the only child I cannot account for after 1850 census. (East Graveyard was turned into a park after it was discovered the land it was on was swamp land. Families moved their loved ones to Green Lawn.)
*Maria (later, she is Mary Ellen on records) DOB: 4 Jun 1853 DOD: 7 Apr 1933 (252639288)
*William Henry: (many adult records his name appears as HENRY) DOB: 17 Jan 1855 DOD: 16 Sep 1946 (154706123)
Elizabeth Cutshall is listed as such on : son, Augustus, death record and daughter, Mary Ellen LaValle, marriage record.
On Elizabeth (Cutshall) Scheaf Thomas death record (Familysearch), her parents are listed as: DANIEL CUTSHALL AND HANNAH CUTSHALL, both born in PA. Elizabeth's length of residence in Columbus, 61 years. (Elizabeth resided in Delaware County, OH prior to moving to Columbus. She married George in Delaware County, OH.)
Her birth year fluctuates by a year or two on different records. She appears to be the first born daughter, if not the first born child.
