Camila Chaides Garcia was born in the late 1800s to Cesario Garcia (1840-1910) and Petronila Chaides (1851-1930) in Corrales Durango Mexico. She married Placido Carrillo (1882-1966) when she was around 15 years of age. They had 7 children. Her child Librada Carrilo lived in Hanover New Mexico and married Neponeceno Moreno. They both are buried in Memory Lane Cemetery in Silver City.

She moved to Hanover NM where she died. Her death certificate states she is Indian. She is now buried in Santa Rita Cemetery #4.
