Mr. Linzay, 89, of Alexandria, formerly of Cheneyville, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
He was a member of the Producer Mutual Gin for 50 years and president at his time of death.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Mae Newman Linzay of Alexandria; his son, Roy Frank Linzay, Sr. of Cheneyville; his daughter, Mary Linzay Felsher of Cheneyville; four grandchildren, Roy Frank Linzay, Jr., Rhonda Linzay, Olivia Felsher and Elliot Felsher; and two great-grandchildren, Roy Frank Linzay, III and Hannah Linzay.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Cemetery, P.O. Box 223, Cheneyville, LA, 71325.
