As a child after 1841, he moved to the Keeners Ridge area of Nicholas or Braxton County with his parents and siblings. He probably lived in that area all his life. Bio by Ronald Decker, his great grand nephew.
Sgt., Co.F,60th Va.Infantry Regiment-CSA Later deserted. (Source-William L.Caynor-INDEPENDENCE OR ANNIHILATION.
