Mrs. Sallie Clark is Buried in Natchez

Mrs. Sallie Clark, who died suddenly at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ellie Bradford in Walters last Friday, was buried Saturday morning in Natchez, Miss., following funeral services held in the chapel of Foster Funeral Home. Interment was in Natchez City Cemetery.

Born Jan. 28, 1874, Mrs. Clark had been in ill health for some time. She had been bedridden for about three years and about two months ago reportedly suffered a complete "heart block" from which she was convalescing at the time of her death.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Bradford of Walters, Mrs. G. C. Hammett of Natchez, Mrs. Maude Smith of Natchez and Mrs. Nola Gelvin of Trout; four sons, Emile and Rufus, both of Natchez, Ernest of Vidalia and Dewey of Ferriday; 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. E. N. Duke of Jena and Mrs. Birdie Johnson of Seattle, Wash.

The Rev. Hardy Bingham conducted the final rites, with Joel Reece, Wade Garrett, Bud Spinks, Karl Rials, Hugh King and Jack Swain serving as pallbearers.
