Norman O. Suder, 77, of West Church Street, Somerset, died Jan. 18, at his residence. He was born Jan. 5, 1899 in Meyersdale, the son of the late Calvin and Elizabeth Catherine Weimer Suder and was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother. He is survived by his widow, the former Mary Siehl, a son Jack of Fair Oak, Cal.; and two grandchildren. He was a brother of Miss Lepha and Miss Edna Suder, both of Meyersdale; Mrs. Glenn (Erna) Baer of Maples, Fla.; Mrs. Freda M. Robertson and Mrs. William (Mary) Crowe both of Berlin; and Mrs. Henry (Sophia) Adams of Chambersburg. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Somerset and was a 50-year member of the Meyersdale Lodge No. 554 F. and A.M. He was a retired employe [sic] of the A and P Co. Services were conducted Jan. 21 with the Rev. Richard H. Shellenberger officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, in charge of Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.
