Born March 15, 1916, in Omaha, Neb., she was the daughter of Henry and Mary Koontz Steckel. In 1937 she married John F. Seeger in Olathe, Kan. He died in 1952. In 1962, she married Walter Senn in Burlington. He died in 1997.
Mrs. Senn taught ceramic classes and owned and operated A & M Ceramics. She worked at Sylvania in Burlington for sixteen years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Burlington, where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed crocheting, painting and artwork. She was a 1934 graduate of Atchison High School in Atchison.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary A. Christe of New London; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Delphia Wagler of West Burlington and Mary Jane Fenner of Eau Claire, Wis.
Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one grandchild.
The graveside service for Mrs. Senn will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Trinity Cemetery, rural Mt. Union with the Rev. Erick Swanson officiating.
Memorials have been established for New London Rescue Unit and New London Nursing and Rehab Center.
