Mary Belle Garver was born December 16, 1928 in Reydon(sic), OK to Minnie Ona and Archer David Culver and passed away April 2, 1997 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 16 days. Mary Belle graduated from Reydon High School in 1946 and married Troy H. Garver on October 28, 1946 in Wheeler, Texas. They made their home in the Reydon community and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year. Mary Bell(sic) and her daughter Kay owned and operated K/C Tax and Bookkeeping Service in Reydon.She was a member of the Reydon United Methodist church.She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister (Gracie). She is survived by her husband Troy of the home, 1 daughter and son in law, Kay and David Danks, Reydon, OK, 4 grandchildren, Doug Danks, Reydon, OK, Kathryn Minor and husband Joshua, Reydon, OK, Denise and Charlie Hughes, Locust Grove, OK, Dawn Danks, Wichita, KS; 4 great grandsons, Carlandis Jay Hughes, Charles David Hughes, Marcus LeShore, Bryan LeShore; 2 sisters in law, Hester Hickey and Katie Tice, both of Reydon; 1 brother in law, A. W. Garver, Cheyenne; and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 5, 1997 at the White Rose Cemetery officiated by Andy Taylor, and assisted by Marilyn Schellhamer. Services were under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
