Ms. Lena Silverman
Mrs. Lena Silverman, 87, formerly of East Liverpool and widow of William Silverman, died Thursday at 5 p.m. at the home of her nephew, Norman Mounts of Dunbar, W.Va. after an illness of two years.
She was born in Hookstown Aug. 7, 1878, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Shamp. While here, she was a member of the First Church of Christ and Order of Easter Star.
She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Laura Jones of East Liverpool and Mrs. Rose Ralston of Greensville, Pa., several half-brothers and a half-sister.
Services and burial will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Charleston, W.Va.
