BROWN, Era Shackelford, 97, of Our Lady of the Valley, Roanoke, passed away Thursday, November 2, 1995. She was the widow of Charles C. Brown Sr. and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roanoke for over 60 years. Mrs. Brown was an employee of the Virginia Galleries until her retirement. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Charles C. Jr. and Fraher H. Brown, Charlotte, N.C.; a niece, Florence S. Shimp, Magnolia, N.J.; a cousin, Angie Wood, Roanoke.
