Grandson of Samuel & Clarinda [Stokes] Lee, and on the Alford/White side of his family, his grand parents were Leroy R & Martha Ann [White] Lee, of Bowie County TX. The Alford's were in Texas, before the Texas Revolution of 1836, the White's arrived in Bowie Co Texas, 1846, about the closing of the Mexican American War.
