Death of Native of Germany at Her Home on West Main Street.
Mrs. Mary Kibler, wife of John Kibler, died at her home, No. 91 West Main street, after an illness which had confined her to her bed two weeks. She had been in ill health some time.
Mrs. Kibler was born in Germany on April 23, 1833. Her maiden name was Mary Stephan. She came to America when 13 years of age and settled in Lancaster. She was married to Mr. Kibler 53 years ago on September 18th and they went to Sheldon, where they lived up to three years ago, when they moved to Batavia.
Besides her husband Mrs. Kibler leaves three sons, Andrew of Buffalo, Jacob of Batavia, and Charles of Auburn, and six daughters, Mrs. Lena Kennedy of Perry, Mrs. Charles DeWolf, Mrs. George Kibler and Miss Delia Kibler of Batavia. She also leaves two brothers, Jacob and John Stephan of Lancaster, and a sister, Mrs. Michael Anstett of Lancaster, and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the house at 9:30 o'clock and from St. Mary's Church at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning, the Rev. R. E. Walsh officiating. The interment will be in St. Joseph's cemetary.
