ADAM O. MEIXSELL Adam O. Meixsell, 86, a retired Plainfield Township farmer, died Saturday night at Gracedale, the Northampton County welfare home near Nazareth. Mr. Meixsell had been a guest at the home since April 2, 1953. A native of Ross Township, Monroe County, Mr. Meixsell was a son of the late Charles and Mary Drumheller Meixsell. He was engaged in farming at his farm at Pen Argyl R.D. 1 for many years until his retirement in 1945. His wife, the former Ellen Jane Smale, died May 13, 1948. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Plainfield. Surviving are two sons, Asher Meixsell, Stockertown, and Allen Meixsell, of Nazareth R. D. 1; a sister, Mrs. Milton Kreimoyer, Kresgeville; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Schmidt Mortuary in Wind Gap.
