Former Florence Woman Died At Cincinnati

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Richey, aged 80, who died Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at the home of a son, Hobson Richey, in Cincinnati, after an illness of several months will be conducted Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Brown-Service Funeral Home, Florency, by Rev. A.E. Lassiter, pastor of the Central Baptist Church of which deceased was a member. burial will follow in Florence Cemetery, Brown-Service directing.

Mrs. Richey, a native of Rome, GA, moved to Leighton a number of years ago, where her husband died 39 years ago. Following the death of her husband, she came to Florence and resided here for 35 years before going to Cincinnati four years ago to make her home with her son there.

Surviving are seven sons, W.A., J.T., and Albert Richey of Florence; Bert, Joe, Pink, and Hobson Richey of Cincinnati; two daughters, Mrs. Jim Davis of Cincinnati and Mrs. Margaret Guest, of Jonesboro, Ark and a brother, J.M. Lindsey, of Rome, Ga., and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be K.S., M.V., C.L., Buford, and Lucien Richey, all grandsons, and Homer Rickard.
