Death of Mrs. Nancy Ann Caldwell.
Mrs. N. A. Caldwell died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. John Hill, seven miles southwest of LaFayette, on Wednesday, June 30, 1915. She was in the 74th year of her age. She had been a member of Antioch Baptist Church for over thirty years.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ennis, both of whom have been dead for many years, and is the last of a family of eight children. Mrs. Caldwell leaves a daughter, Ida, the wife of Mr. John Hill, with whom the mother has lived since her widowhood nearly fourteen years ago. She was buried at Antioch Cemetery on Thursday, July 1st, the funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. A. C. Yeargan, assisted by Dr. W. C. Bledsoe. The deceased was highly esteemed as a Christian woman, a devoted mother, a thoughtful and kind neighbor.
