Adela was born in Stanislawice, Poland, the daughter of Polish Catholic parents, Michael and Teresa (Dyslowicz) Lach. She spent her teenage years in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp during World War II. Then, having survived the holocaust, she married John Piasecki in Poland on April, 11, 1951. They immigrated to the United States and settled in Muskegon, Michigan, where she raised five children. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and also the Palaski Lodge, Polish Falcons, Polish Union, and the Muskegon Polish Heritage Society. She was known as a woman who loved everyone, and was loved by everyone. She is survived by her children, Marion (Janice) Piasecki and Denise Kanaar (fiance, Larry Van Haitsma) of Muskegon, and John Piasecki of Portsmouth, VA; her grandson, Benjamin Bublick of Atlanta, GA; her sister, Wanda Olesky of Poland; many nieces and nephews in Poland, and her beloved dogs, Archie and Oma. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, Michael Piasecki; and a daughter, Krystyna Bublick. A funeral was held at St. Michaels Catholic Church.
