Funeral services for Robert C. Hutson were held at 2:00 PM Friday at Beulah Baptist Church in Oak Grove, LA with Rev. Kenny Herring and Rev. Curtis Carroll, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, LA.
Robert C. Hutson was born November 29, 1934 in West Carroll Parish and passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in Glenwood Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.G. and Maudie Hutson; four brothers, Tim Hutson, Don Hutson, Roger Hutson, and Wesley Hutson
and a sister, Kathleen Hutson.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Barbara Hutson of Oak Grove; son, Robert Mitchell Hutson of Jena, LA; son, Ronald Craig Hutson, of Oak Grove; son, Harlan Grant Hutson and wife, Tammie of Le Panto, AR; five grandchildren, Jeremy Hutson, Amy Jordan, Melissa Hutson, Michael Hutson, and Christopher Paul Dukes; six great -grandchildren, Dejan and Addlyn Jordan, Madelyn Wray, Christopher, Harlan, and Cheyenne Dukes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jimmy McNeil, John L. Sanders, Jerry Hagan, Larry Bonner, T.L. Hammett, and Kent Davis.
Honorary Pallbearers were the Senior Adult Men's Sunday School Class.
