EARLY TELEGRAPH OPERATOR DIES
Mrs. Helen E. Armstrong Young, 83, pioneer telegrapher of southern Utah, died Saturday in Ephraim.
Mrs. Young had worked as a telegraph operator at Richfield, Manti and Salina before becoming a school teacher. She taught in Grass Valley, Salina, Glenwood, Ephraim, Weber and Box Elder county schools and for several years at the Indian school in Washakie.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Ephraim.
