Donald Douglas "Doug" Crawley, 66, Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the Hooverwood Jewish Nursing Home in Carmel.
Born, January 30, 1945 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Donald E. and Mary Alice (Barnard) Crawley.
He was the owner of Indy Professional Cleaning in the Indianapolis area.
He graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1963 and then attended both Indiana State and Butler Universities as a music major. He played the trombone and was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts.
He is survived by one sister, Mary Ann Crawley, Greensburg; his close friend, Larry Doll, Carmel; aunts and uncles, Joe and Jackie Swegman, Florida, Cora Crawley, Greensburg, Ruth Wilhoit, Greensburg; several cousins; numerous friends from the Indianapolis and Carmel area.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3-4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Doug Preston officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
