During his career,Armijo worked for the State Highway Dept, State Tax Commission,Middle Rio Grande Conservancy Dist.,and in 1971 retired from First National Bank after serving as an assistant cashier for 15 years.
Surviving Armijo are his widow, Lupe; four daughters;Mrs. Marylin Swink, Mrs. Leon Palmisano, Mrs. Richard Knipfing and Mrs.Paul Barabe, all of Albuquerque;a sister, Mrs. Joe Declue of Santa Rosa,& nine grandchildren. Mass was celebrated at St. Charles with interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
