Mary Caroline Prater married first Maro W. Love 24 Dec 1876 in Christian Co., IL. They had a daughter Minnie Bell (1878-1964), who married Charles Edgar Richardson, a GG Grandson of Revolutionary War Capt. John George Overmire.

Mary married second Levi Whitmer (1830-1912) in 1897. After Levi's death in 1912, Mary lived with her daughter Minnie Bell Richardson in Douglas Co., Oregon. Mother and daughter are buried in Oak Creek Cemetery in Glide, Douglas Co., OR.
