Geneva Parrish Baldwin, 82, of Franklin, died Friday, Oct. 17, in a Sylva hospital after an extended illness.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late George and Beulah Porter Parrish.
Surviving are the husband, W.E. "Gene" Baldwin; three daughters, Lolita B. West, Ruby B. Cansler and Nora Jean Kinsland all of Franklin; two sons, Gus and Ralph Baldwin, of Franklin; a sister, Vernon Justice of Asheville; a brother, Ralph Parrish of Brevard; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday in the First Baptist Church of which she was a member. The Rev. Jim Dusek officiated and grandsons served as pallbearers. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Bryant Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
