Charles K. Corson

LEWISTOWN - Charles K. Corson, 74, of 224 Church Lane, Lewistown, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at his residence. Born June 27, 1926, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late David and Alice (Collier) Corson. His wife, Betty Corson, died June 2, 1989. Surviving are: a son, David W. Corson, 9 Corson Lane, Lewistown; sister and brothers, Martha Albright, William Corson, Billy Corson and David Corson, all of Lewistown; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley J. Corson and Linda Mitchell; a son, Franklin B. Corson; four sisters and one brother. He was a United States Army and Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed for 17 years at Marlette Homes. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
