Mrs. Wilcox was employed as a clerk and bookkeeper for 26 years at the former Schultz Dime Store, Maquoketa, and later was a clerk for 10 years at Spalding's Shoe Store, Maquoketa.
She was a member of the Empty Nester Club and had been a member of Joinerville Boat Club since 1954.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers and the outdoors.
