A. Ralph Martini, 93, passed away Sunday at the home of his son, Richard. He was born in Woburn, MA and had been a resident of East Syracuse for over 40 years before retiring from Fisher Scientific and moving to Port Charlotte, FL with his wife, Pat, who passed away in 1990. Ralph also spent his summers before his retirement and also during his retirement at his cottage on Wellesley Island, NY. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and was a longtime communicant of St. Matthew's Church in East Syracuse. He was predeceased by his eldest son Frank. Ralph always had a passion for life and especially loved his summer cottage. Ralph is survived by his children, Ralph (Donna) of East Syracuse, Richard (Shirley) of Cortland, Carolyn Bardou of Lakeport and David of Fulton; a brother, John (Nancy); and a sister, Anna Centola, both of MA; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Delaney-Greabell-Adydan Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
