Charlie Carroll Wilson died at the age of 66, in Vidalia Ga. After a long illness. He was a native of Aiken S.C. but had lived in the Toombs County area most of his life, his occupation was a farmer. Survived by 5 son's Sherman Wilson of Eloise Fla., Lester Wilson of Richmond Va., Pierce Wilson of Jackson Fla., Herman and Thomas Wilson both of Lyons, Ga. 2 Daughters Mrs. Marvin Anderson of Winter Haven Fla., and Mrs. Herman Moore of Jacksonville Fla. 19 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Brother Ira Wilson of Lyons Ga., 1 Sister Mrs. H.G. Dismuke of Lyons Ga. Funeral services held Thursday at 3 p.m. South Thompson Baptist Church, conducted by Joe Flowers, Rev. G.D. Rickerson and Rev. Grimes Burial at South Thompson Baptist Church, Lyons, Toombs County Ga. Pallbearers: Wilmer Taylor, J.C. Williams, Troy Williams, Tennyson Clark, Trenton Williams, Wade Garrett Honorary Pallbearers: Des Gray, A.L. Mosley, Elliott Collins, Bill Scarboro, D.Q. Coleman, H.J. Clifton, Ed McKuhen, Lonnie Usher, Collie Williams, Wildren James, Ernest James, Clark, Tom Fuller, Tom Odom, Delma Galbreath, George Beckworth Trapnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
