Mrs. Ruth Cole
KENNEBUNK - Mrs. Ruth M. Cole, 49, of Heath Road died last nightt in a Portland hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Kennebunkport on Sept. 7, 1923, a daughter of Raymond E. and Mary (Cheney) Welch.
Mrs. Cole attended Advent Christian Church in Kennebunk Lower Village.
Survivors include her widower, Charles F., one son, Peter R., one daughter, Mrs. Charlene R. Jackson and her mother, all of this community; four brothers, Clifford S. Welch, Leslie Welch and James S. Welch, all of this town and William J.d Welch of Arundel; three sisters, Mrs. Isabel Skinner of Moorestown, N.J. and Mrs. Frances Grace and Miss Rosamund Welch, both of this town; one grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services lwill be held from Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., on Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Hewitt of Advent Christian Church officitaing.
Interment will take place in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, here.
Visiting hours will be held at the chapel tomorrow afternoon, from 2 to 4 and tomorrow night, from 7 to 9.
