NORTH, S.C. -- Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Harley, 89, died Monday at Rikard Nursing Home in Lexington after an extended illness.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Culler Funeral Home in North, with the Rev. Carlos A. Nieto and the Rev. Eric Stroman officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in North.

Pallbearers will be six grandsons.
Mrs. Harley was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late James Franklin and Mary B. Gantt. She had lived in Orangeburg County most of her life. She was the widow of Pink David Harley. She was a practical nurse and a member of the Worldwide Church of God.

Survivors include a son, William K. Harley of Columbia; six daughters, Janette H. Justice of Orangeburg, Frances H. Garner of Swansea, Rose H. Stroman of North, Martha H. Sharpe of Lexington, Christine H. Hollis of Columbia and Patricia H. Langford of Irmo; a brother, Emanuel Gantt of Livingston; two sisters, Doris Tindal of North and Lou Ella Williams of North; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
