Born in Horse Valley, Sept. 19, 1895, Mr. Geyer was the son of the late George W. and Margaret Neusbaum Geyer.
During his early life he was an accountant with Western Union in Philadelphia and taught school for two years. He was later employed at Letterkenny, retiring in 1961.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, George Washington Royal Arch Chapter 176, Continental Commandery No. 56, Curnberland Valley Hose Co.; Burt J. Asper Post 46, American Legion and a past master and member of the George Washington Lodge No. 143, F & AM. He was a U.S. Air Corps veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Flo Henderson Geyer; a son. Donald H. Geyer. Huntingdon Valley; two grandchildren and a sister, Miss Mabel E. Geyer, Menno Haven Nursing Home.
The funeral wi11 be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert E. Reasey officiating. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
