OBITUARY:
Charles August Sundeleaf, who has been engaged in the restaurant business in Portland for 30 years, died yesterday at his home, 442 Leo avenue, following an illness of six months of heart disease.
Mr. Sundeleaf was born in Hosjo, Sweden, January 4, 1873, and was educated at the Uppsala university in that country. He came to America at the age of 17, and after living for short periods in New York and Boston came to Portland.
Mr. Sundeleaf has been manager of the Oyster Loaf restaurant for the last eight years.
He is survived by a widow, Gracia M., and three sons, Wesley, Richard and Geary, all living in Portland; two brothers, Rev. A. W. Sundeleaf of Boston, Mass., and Solomon Sundeleaf, who lives in Sweden. He is also survived by his father, who is in Sweden.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 o'clock at Memorial hall, Portland crematorium, with Dr. E. H. Pence officiating.
