Mr. Leonard Roy Dukes, Jr., 57,a Truck Driver with Big M Transportation, died Friday, November 4, 2011 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

Funeral Services will be Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Dukes officiating.
Burial will follow in Abbeville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 3:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

He was Born in Jackson, MS.
Mr. Dukes was a Former Driver for Southern Cal Transportation.
He was a Member of Garfield Baptist Church in New Albany, MS; and enjoyed spending time with his Family, especially his Grandchildren.

He served in the United States Army as a Sergeant E-5 during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Dukes was preceded in death by a Sister, Gloria Russell; and a Brother, Robert Merlin Dukes.

Survivors include his Wife, Brenda Shoffner Dukes of Myrtle, MS; two Daughters, Tania Grose of Oxford, MS; and Virginia Dukes and Husband, Marlon of New Albany, MS; one Son, Steven Dukes and Wife, Alicia of Myrtle, MS; one Sister, Vicki Haney Kersh of Gulfport, MS; two Brothers, Darryl Dukes of Perkinston, MS; and Larry Dukes of Paris, TN; and eight Grandchildren.

In Honor Of Mr. Dukes' Service To His Country, The Flag Of The United States Army Will Be Flown At The Funeral Home.

Memorial Contributions in Mr. Dukes' Memory may be made to First Baptist Church of Abbeville, 15 East Long Street, Abbeville, MS 38601.
