Earl Allen Brewer, 91, of Taylorville died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville. He was born March 8, 1912, in Assumption, the son of Hal and Bertha Rhoades Brewer. He married Lula F. Nemyer in 1936 in Palmer; she died in 1986. Mr. Brewer retired from C&IM Railroad in 1976. Survivors: a son, Paul (wife, Katharyn) Brewer of Charleston; a daughter, Jeanne (husband, William) Mohn of Springfield, and a grandson. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville. Burial: Anderson Cemetery, Palmer.
